Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
April 11th, 2026

This is our biggest event and fundraiser of the year, and it supports much of the work that we do. We are thrilled with the continued support of our community, and our patrons that join us for a day of wine, food and bidding – all for the love of Oak Island!

The annual Beach Preservation Society wine tasting and fundraiser for 2025 was aptly named Grape Expectations! As in years past, we had a wonderful selection of items and gift certificates donated by local artisans and businesses for our silent auction. Attendees enjoyed a variety of white and red wine selections as well as an array of tasty hors d' oeuvres while perusing and submitting bids for the auction items. We look forward to our much-anticipated 2026 spring event on April 11, 2026! All proceeds go directly to support our beach enhancement, preservation and educational opportunities.

"Sea, Sip and Shop!" is in the books for another successful fundraiser….and we could not have done it without YOU!!

Everyone enjoyed delicious wines from The Grape and Ale and wonderful hors d'oeuvres provided by Diamond Catering! And as always, 801 Ocean provided the perfect space, with an ocean view no less! Team Cronick, of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty, was our startup cost sponsor once again this year! We would like to thank these wonderful business partners and ALL of the generous donors who helped to make our 2024 event successful and fun for all!
